he better be laying down. it's lu bixing's turn to be fussy!! and... not only that, but... even popcorn is a little fussy. maybe he's lost his inhibition. either way, he's poking up and slithering next to lavi and putting his little snake head on him. :(
in the meantime and less important, lu bixing is coming back into their room with a glass of water in his hands, which he brings over along with a few painkillers. ]

[ the easy warmth lavi reaches for here feels like, so familiar. it's the same way that lu bixing deals with things, the coping mechanisms he's shown everyone around him when things are going horribly wrong. he laughs, a little, halfway - fond. ]
