It does, yes. I can't say I've ever heard of someone experiencing death, and dying again. Well - unless they managed to revive themselves somehow in the middle. Maybe this is some sort of purgatory.

It does seem really hellish.

A lot of the time they are. Like… there’s enough wins they can reasonably argue that it’s not rigged, but more often than not you don’t win anything. Or you win something it would’ve been cheaper to buy in the 100¥ store.

I think it was just bad timing - the lava and trying to keep Ryo out of it.
