lu bixing is not really a super sound sleeper nowadays, but he sleeps sooo much better than he used to when lin jingheng is beside him. even still, the hand in his curls is what stirs him out of a mostly dreamless slumber. at night, he rarely wears his eyepatch, so, it's just the scarred remains of where his eye used to be and the slow, sleepy blink of one sparkly, lovely brown one. there's a little drool on his pillow which ruins this cute image but that's okay.
and oh... to wake up to lin looking at him like that. is he dreaming still? ]

Mmm.... did you go for a run? [ his hard working military man... lu bixing snakes his hands free of the covers and lifts them lazily to rest across lin jingheng's shoulders, like he might pull him down again anyway. are you sweaty. ] You can come back to bed, if you want to.
[ it's honestly very ic of lbx and as he touches along his shoulders, he will notice that he is shower wet, not sweat wet (he smells like the cheap shampoo they've been given.) lin rubs his eye a moment and will allow himself to be drawn down back into warm blankets. he is very chilly actually.

[ he lets his hand rest gently on his upper arm, squeezing gently. ]
[ ooooh, cold!! cold. he makes a little noise, surprised, and like immediately draws him back to bed, pulling with a little bit more strength to tug him down and grabbing the covers to throw over them both, and then scooting forward. lu bixing is warm like the sun as usual, and he tangles his half bare leg between lin's and sticks close to him like a personalized heater. ]

[ the idea of lin watching him when he sleeps should be weird but he thinks this is the cutest thing in the entire world. also it makes him happy because he does it. like a freak. a traumatized freak, but still a freak. he has to resist the urge to giggle and wriggles close, pushing up a little to nudge their noses together. ] Watch me?
