Let's see...I think it was discovered in the 19th century? A long, long time ago. Created by a reaction of barium peroxide and nitric acid. They're chemicals! In fact, when someone first discovered it, they called hydrogen peroxide "oxygenated water", because it was formed as a byproduct of experimenting with water itself. But, you definitely, definitely shouldn't drink it.
