Of course she knows. It's been in the works for a few weeks - it's just only recently started to solidify, all things considered. There are things we're working on, so, I'm telling you in confidence, but that is the plan.

Because I can definitely see you running around adopting all the kids with shit backgrounds here— and there are a damn lot of them, why are there so many of them?— and running off with them. [ it’s said more amused than anything. ]

Good. I told her there was no way in hell she was going back to what she left. We just needed to find something better for her that she’d accept.

Yeah. I... offered - today. I offered to be her legal guardian. There are other paths to her getting out that don't involve that, but... I put the offer on the table, at least.

If you have the space you might as well use it. [ date has a one bedroom bachelor pad and he sleeps on the sofa so mizuki has a bed. ]

That's one less thing to worry about. Even if she didn't take it, for some entirely unknown reason, we'd still find something better for her.
