It is easier for me to move around in the Somnium space, as can project myself through the Psync Machine's system. Date is still a physical presence in the real world -- while he is mentally able to be present, it is easier for an AI assistant to move through the space than it would be for him.

While it would be quite interesting to have a semi tangible appearance occasionally, I am quite satisfied with the extent of my forms. I am able to project myself through Date's left vision and interact with the world in that manner. It provides me a semblence of anonymity as well.
